What I've been up to …

Last weekend was the first weekend Aina spent in her new hostel.

We visited her on Saturday afternoon. We brought her a meal of KFC.

We also brought Nuni’s netbook for Aina to check her Facebook. Occasionally we could hear her giggle. Her FB friends must have written funny stuff on Aina’s or their walls.

I pity Aina for having to wear the long tudung (hijab).  Fortunately Aina didn’t seem to mind.

When we were about to leave, she gave us some soiled laundry for us to take back. Her hostel doesn’t have any iron that works, so the students either send their for laundry services, wear un-ironed clothes, or do what Aina does – get the family to do the laundry for them!

Well, I do not mind at all. It gives me the excuse to see her again the following day.

The following day, the visit was brief, but I was happy we managed to bring her McD’s meal. The funny thing is that for the past four years, Aina would follow us to visit Mae in Seremban, and we brought similar (junk) food to him. Noiw it’s Aina’s turn to get them, hahaha!!

Aina’s school allows the students to go home every fortnight, so this coming Friday, i’ll be fetching her home . We plan to visit Pih at Kem Millenium, Beranang and then to visit Mae before we send her back to her hostel on Friday evening. Yes! I look forward to this weekend!
