A Place I Must Remember To Visit

Hernik, a friend from my NNC (Needles & Crafts) e-group showed me this blog (click on the image to get there):

It shows part of the collection of the cotton the shop has:

It’s a heaven for people like me who wants to stash up my cotton collection.

I am putting it in my blog so that the next time I want to visit the page, I can find the link.Forget the bookmark on my browser – it’s too crowded now!

I still have a backlog of so many things to write… :(

hello, i am a fan of ur needlework, but actually more of a fan of the jalan-jalan website

that place, very near my kampung.

i need to tell u, i hate going there, its hot stuffy n has many pickpockets, but indeed everywhere sell ‘kain’ wholesale! so need to buy alot to get the real cheap prices

lastly, very hard to get there n find parking, but jakarta’s public transport is so unreliable.

if you want to be more comfortable in finding kain, can try pasar baru ( in old spelling passar baroe).

Thank you for the info. After a lot of feedback from some friends, I think I should just go to Bandung – can shop for ready-made clothes as well as cotton. But if I ever find myself in Jakarta again, I would try to visit Tanah Abang. Yudi, my Jakarta friend aaid Tanah Abang is good. When I was in Jakarta, Yudi & Lies (her missus) took me to Pasar Jati Negara – very stuffy indeed!

Kalau setakat sepasang boleh kot… tau je lah air asia bagi 15 kg je.,
