Yup, fancy wrought iron for the 3 sliding doors, the main door and the open side access to wet kitchen area. Then we can leave all these openings open for daylong constant breeze throughout the house. No grilles on the many beautiful glassy windows, but security film able to withstand whacks by the hammer.

Sabre,

Sorry, somehow your comment went to the spam folder!!

Grill - Big Boss is looking into it.

Kitchen cabinet - Ikea's look durable and within the budget.

Curtains - I am going to sew myself (wah.. very ambitious indeed!). I plan to have just plain ones - straight stitches only. Remember, the theme of the house is "MINIMALIST".

My biggest concern is packing the stuff that we have in the current home - scary!! You won't believe it, but I still dare not throw away DH's lecture notes - no not his notes as a lecturer, but his notes as a student (or did I throw them away recently?). We also have manuals for software such as MS-DOS! There's also my notebook that DH bought me circa 1997(obviously out of comission).

OKlah, I do have my Math books too. Kreyzig's "Advanced Engineering Mathematics" books, we have from 1st edition untill 5th edition, if I'm not mistaken. Also some books on Fortran, Pascal and Basic programming!!

The kids too have their fair share of book/comic collection!

Grills - are you going for wrought iron ones? We chose a small installer, instead of a more established one. Wrong choice.
Kitchen cabinets - we did consider Ikea ones, but we decided to get from a local kitchen installer MamaKitchen/Jetshen. I won't recommend this installer, even though the final result is quite satisfactory.
Curtains - we did consider Nilai 3, but we decided to get it from a local curtain installer, Beverly Design. Nice show room with loads of floor to ceiling curtain fabrics. They certainly look different hanging full height, then the small samples cutouts. This installer I'd recommend for my neighbours.

House warming - we did a small kenduri doa selamat, the week before we moved in. But, you're welcome to visit, regardless. Just give me an sms, so I can order oops bake a pizza or something. ;-)

Ahhh...you've been busy, yes? It's always like that before moving into a new home. Have fun decorating and furniture hunting :) I like doing it actually, but it can be stressful when taste and likings between us and the better half don't meet.
